Mrs Justa and attitude

100_0902

W Clement is quoted as saying " There is very little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is ATTITUDE."

Indi here is showing the difference attitude can make. AS we drive down the road, he will pace in the back of the car sometimes, huffing and puffing, waiting for and invitation to come up and sit in the passenger seat.

Now if we do not allow him to do that he gets an attitude. And sits with his back totally towards us.

This gesture he does makes the air in the car feel thicker, kinda like if people are fighting, or someone has hurt feelings.

He can not keep his attitude in the ignore zone for too long though, He finally weakens and turns around and gives us a smile. 100_0903

The difference in his attitude changes the whole atmosphere of the ride.

Now I am forced to look at myself, my mannerisms, my words, my body language. What attitude do I portray. What  message am I sending.

At work, at home, on the road, in public. People watch people, people can be affected negatively or positively by just a motion, a gesture, a look.

How do you affect any situation?

I am reminded of working in the hospital, and that second I walked into a patient room was a make it or break it moment. The patient lying in the bed is watching the second you enter, your body language, your gestures, your tone in your voice. Are you acting rushed, put out by them, or are you having an air of compassion flow in your every step and word.

This is how it is in the retail world, in the work world, in situations when you are faced with any type of contact with another living thing. Be careful watch what footprint you are leaving in every moment of your life. Love Mrs justa

Mrs Justa feeling lost...

I feel like a lost soul on the cyberspace road way. Have I told ya that I sometimes HATE computers... well tonight is one of those nights. I came in to update our excel file of our expenses in the checking account and all is gone! It says it does not recognize the format or the program it was done on- yet it was done on this computer. I had it stored on a g drive- guess that was not a good idea. The fricken g drive ate my information. A forest path in Redwoods State Park, California.

So here we are faced with having to reenter all the info--- grrrr.

Hand written ledgers never did that. Yes, I feel like I am rambling on this path, not sure where I am headed, have no idea where all my stuff has gone, and feeling like there is  no end.

Kinda felt that way in the moving adventure a few months ago, I kept packing, and there was more to pack, more to move, more to reorganize. I swear I will NEVER move again. I am sure PR can relate to that right now!

Going around the kitchen still it is like where's Waldo trying to remember where I placed some item that is not often used.
I laugh at myself, as I open a cupboard to see if I chose the right door. It will probably take me another few months before I get it all straight.

Mark said he will help me with this excel nightmare this weekend, I am going to at least start reentering the info tonight. But I gotta tell ya, it is really yanking my chain! So as I stroll through the last 3 + months of check ledgers, think of me as I fumble through the seemingly endless path . Love to all, Mrs Justa. ( PS Mr Justa is coming along, a little at a time, he is here in spirit !)

I'm justa checking in.

This is my I'm still here post.

After posting almost every day since I started blogging back in January I went through a couple of days where I just didn't feel like posting. I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed what with the move, the new job and the bipolar episode all just hitting me with the perfect storm. So I took a Friday and Saturday off and I'm not going to push it to far today either. I feel somewhat better today. Thanks for the comments and the encouragement of my blogging buddies.

So real quick here is what is going on.

Friday I did my ride along for the driving job. I know the route all ready but will do one more ride along to fine tune in my mind the way things go. Then I believe Starting Tuesday I will be doing the route on my own. I'm not 100% sure though as the new boss has changed her story about the job a couple of times all ready. First it was supposed to be $10.00 an hr to start now she is saying it's $9.00 to start with a raise to $10.00 rather quickly. Then she is hedgeing a little on it being every day, to maybe it being a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off schedule. So I have to see how that plays out. She said to be patient that it may take a month to get things straightened out.

I'm really stressed out about how the new job

plays into my Workmans Comp and the fact that a hearing will be coming up soon. This job is only part time and in the long term I need to work full time. I have to be patient and let things play out as they will. It's not my nature to wait and see. I'm more a make it happen kind of guy so this is my main stress producer.

Oh I do have some good news.

Cindy was able to get me in to see a Psych Dr. This coming Wednesday. I'm pretty excited about this as maybe I can finally get my medicine straightened out and get back to somewhat feeling normal again. I have been in this last episode of my disorder now since January so I can't remember what normal is. I just know that if how I feel now becomes my normal I wouldn't be able to function very well. So wish me luck with my appointment.

This has been a quick update. There is a lot more going on but I don't want to ramble. Thanks for checking back in. Hopefully more to follow. My posting times may change and I may not post everyday but I'll give it a shot. Preciousrock has a new camera so make sure you watch what you wear if you go to the laundry mat.

I justa can't do it! Sorry!

I've been tagged again.

I just ain't got the energy to follow up on doing the requirements. I'm writing this Saturday afternoon I'm not even sure when or if I'm going to post it. I am supposed to write 8 random things about myself. I really don't seen how I can do that and not repeat stuff as I've been an open book since I started this blog. So I guess I'm just going to have to Un tag my self.(Is that even possible) I am also supposed to tag 8 more people I don't even know 8 bloggers well enough to tag them. And I sure as heck ain't going to tag people I've already  tagged. Stan is already ragging on my about my "man basket" I could see if I tagged him with this one. This has to stop somewhere. (This tag thing) So if someone wants to be mad at me so be it. Get in line. The meany that tagged me obliviously didn't read much of my blog or they would have seen that I was recently tagged. So there we go that is the excuse I'm using. Here is the link to the blog that tagged me.So back to my plan for taking Sunday off. I think I will post this. Under the category whinnying. LOL.

Justa in a holding pattern!

Money Fun Fact

It is three times more likely for a person driving 10 miles to purchase a Lotto ticket to be killed in a car accident than to win the jackpot.Source: motherjones.com

Save Money at SavingAdvice.com, now this makes you think doesn't it? The moral to this story is let someone else drive you to the store to buy your ticket. See there is a way around every problem.

I have this scam that I am running that is working pretty good. I just got back from stopping in and talking to Jeff. We were sharing our wit and wisdom so you know it couldn't have been a very long conversation from my perspective anyway. That being said. Before I could escape out the door, Jeff forcibly made me eat a Sausage Patty on the grille. That is three days in a row that I have eaten a meal at Jeff & Amanda's. If I can keep this up for 30 days just think how low I could get our grocery bill down to.:) I told Jeff that for sure

Mike my employment councilor from the workmen's comp carrier sent me over a possible job lead. It was enticing. But I'm already following up this lead on the van driving job. I don't want to get too many coals in the fire. It's hard enough to remember what I had for breakfast let alone what I told this or that person I could or couldn't do. One at a time is how I'm going to approach it. I really like the sounds of this driving job. So I will keep you posted on those developments.

In another minor development the deal on the house we were trying to buy may fall through once again. It is too fresh and still a little uncertain yet to talk about. It has to do with appraisals of like property in the area and us maybe needing to come up with some more money. I'll post on this a little more in the next day or so. So hang on. This is justa nother day in the life of the Justakrusen's. Never a dull moment,

I justa lost a post somewhere

I had a new post all done for today. I don't know what happened to it. The computers were acting up last night I pressed save and poof gone. It had a picture of me of the way things were going. Yesterday was one of those days that I was just as soon forget. So that's what I'm going to do. JUST FORGET IT. I  can reproduce the picture easy enough but I'm just going to link to it. When you see it you'll understand what kind of day it was. Today is a new day.

Cindy is taking this morning off to help me attend to some of the things we have to do.

  1. Go to Oswego college book store to get Jeff's tassle for his graduation this coming Saturday. (See I never mentioned that did I?)
  2. Go to Town of Granby to talk to Girl about our Building permit. Also need to talk to Water Clerk about hooking to the City water. (This was in my other post)
  3. Need to Call Bob (The person doing our site prep) about changes in the water hook up. Instead of the well we have to hook to the city water.
  4. Sometime in the next few days I need to get up to Fulton to sign up for the new job I have. (Looking for a job)  Somewhere in all this mess of trying to move and dealing with my bipolar I need to start my job search. They've determined that I can do light duty type of work 8 hrs a day. If any body has any leads or ideas let me know. I'm thinking of working with the disabled maybe driving a van or in a residential setting. This is an Idea I have to be working on in the coming weeks. I have some accountability to Mike from the Insurance company on this.

So I'm pressed for time this morining now and i'm going to keep this short. Here is the link to the picture that shows how I feel right now. Check this out I hope your having a great day. Thanks for stopping buy. Feel free to leave a comment if your so inclined. I'm justa saying!

Justa wondering where your allegiances lie! Or why are you a Dumocrat!!

image

If your even thinking about voting for Barack

My wife is embarrassed to be an American Obama or Billary (self explanatory Clinton) I have to question your patriotism. That's right! Have you forgotten the War on Terror. Are we afraid to go out to Restaurants, or malls, or our church's? I'm not thinking so! It's not because we are talking about pulling out of Iraq. It's because of the Tightened noose on the terrorist organizations around the world . Come on people the war in Iraq was  probably most assuredly not a super idea. History will determine that. But If you can vote for some one that would say they are going to pull out the troops just to get elected with out knowing the ramifications of that move ahead of time. GIVE ME A BREAK!!! Think for yourself's don't let the nightly news dictate who the next president of the country is going to be.

image

If your a Dumocrat I'm embarrassed for you

. You think it's ok to take a human life. Abortion! What if you had been aborted. What if the Pope had been aborted. Come on America think about it. If God didn't want that life he wouldn't have created it. Give me a break. Stop your whinnying about the Gas prices. Cut back on your eating out, your cigarettes, heck yeah give up your beer if you have to, but stop your WHINNING! pretty please( there was that politically correct enough for you?) If we stop using so much gas the prices will come down. Demand will drop so will the prices. Supply and demand. It's what drives any Economy. Please stop waiting for our Government to do something. It is up to us the people. Each and every one of us can make a difference right where we live, work and play. By the way if you vote Democratic, open up your check books there goes the taxes. Check out The Syracuse Gas Prices.com site on the sidebar on the right. Join that. Give the prices for gas stations you drive by every day. Let's work together to beat the oil companies. They have a head start on us,

I don't know where this hair up my fanny came from.

It's just in my mind and I wanted to share it with you. There is more ranting I could do about the Dumocrats if I wanted to. But why beat a dead horse. Fortunately the good, the bad and the ugly is coming out on both candidates. That's another thing you guys do, you eat your young. Barrack Obama could have made a good President, maybe he will some day. He's just to inexperienced. You can't be all things to all people. And really Hillary Clinton could care a less about her country. She's more interested in staying in power because with out a position of power she is just another old bag of wind.Remember the promise of more jobs for upstate New York she was going to work for? We're still waiting Billary! If you must vote for one of these two people so be it. Don't vote for them because your union says to, or your friends, or relatives, you get the point. Know the facts study every thing you can, than make an informed opinion.

image

Repuglicans have their issues also.

John Mccain isn't going to be strong economically. He has admitted that. Also, he hasn't meet an old crony from either party, that he won't jump on the band wagon with. But the one thing he is going to do is protect our country. That's a pretty good place to start. I am technically a registered Republican but my bent now is more toward being an Independent. You all know the story on how to tell if a politician is lying, "his or her, lips are moving!" I just think we should all weigh the facts and choose who we feel will best lead our country for the next four years.Hopefully we can all agree to disagree in a reasonable way. I'm still not sure 100% who I'm going to vote for this year for President. I might not make my final decision until I'm in that booth. For anyone to know beyond a shadow of a doubt who they're going to vote for now. Tells me that they aren't making an entirely informed decision, if you know what I mean. All the facts aren't out yet. Good luck and may God continue to bless the United State of America. I'm justa saying!!

Justa continuing the CPEP Saga!

100_0338_edited I've since lost about 20 lbs,but look at that face would you buy a used car from this guy? Do I have a face for radio or what?

I think we left off with my in the staging area

This is the waiting room where friends and relatives can wait right along with those of us waiting to be seen. This environment can, and quite often does become quite toxic quickly. The two times it did were when a 19 year old teenager that had been dropped off there buy the police and just left him.(he was one of the ones that never got checked out,the whole time he spent in the waiting room he had his cell phone, shoes and who knows what else with him.) As his frustrations increased he was getting more and more agitated and was talking to who ever would listen to him.

He seemed real good at picking out

the weak person in the room and using them as a sounding board.Eventually staff was alerted and he was taken into the inter sanctum.(He was very good at using the system to get what he wanted) He knew that he could jump in front of everybody if he just acted out and got noticed and made people uncomfortable. And guess what. it did work. We in the room were rather glad to be rid of him though. But it just shows how people that have dealt with the system their whole lives have learned how to circumvent the rules. His "twin sister" came in later in the day and pulled the same thing only she was much better at it. Suffice it to say. She got what she wanted also. A trip to the next step ahead of everyone else. Again the group in the room was elated when she departed. As there were two groups of parents with a couple of younger teenagers in their own crisis. They didn't need any "french speaking" lessons if you know what I mean?

So I'm going to try to pick up

the pace of the story a little quicker here. I might have to go into a third day to get to the end of the story though. Bear with me please. So you get frisked go back into the waiting room. You wait about 1 or 2 hours to see the Nurse. They take you back into a back room take your blood pressure check the vital statistics etc. Ask you some very basic questions of why your here then send you back out into the waiting room. Now at this time in the waiting room your starting to hear some war stories. Someone told us that he had been there overnight and had only gotten to stage two, which is see a counselor. So he had been there over 12 hrs just for the first two stages and was waiting for his visit with the Doctor so he could be released to go home.

Now remember little ole me in all this

At this time I'd already been in and out of the waiting room twice. Once for the frisking and the second time for the nurse interview and vitals testing.I've been at CPEP for 5 hours now. Sitting in this waiting room with out my cell phone, my shoes gone and hungry.(Who eats when your going to Crazyville)I'm starting to get a little agitated and as I looked around the room I saw the level of agitation in the room was growing. So at that time I decided to go into my "One flew Over the Cuckcoo's nest" Mcmurphy role.Fortunately for me I only did it in my head. Every thing I did from here on in was under the radar so to speak. I'm sorry but because of the length I'm going to have to end this tomorrow.Check back for the conclusion of the Saga of CPEP. I'm justa saying!

Justa depressing situation

image

I wanted to get a couple of days away

from the situation I'm going to describe to you in the following paragraphs. As many of you know. I've been diagnosed with Bi-polar disorder. HERE is where I first mention it and then a few days later I bring up the fact that I was in to the depression mode. Well it hit rock bottom Tuesday. I had to have Cindy take me down to CPEP. CPEP is part of St. Joseph's Hospitals Emergency Psychiatric center. This is where you go if you are in crisis. Well because of the series of events from Tuesday morning I went spiraling into a depressive episode.

It wasn't as severe as the last one 4 years ago

(that one put me in the hospital for 6 days) This one required spending 11+ hrs in the armpit of the world. They mean well at CPEP. But they are woefully understaffed. Each shift has only 1 nurse,1councelor,and 1 doctor. This is to see all the patients already brought in from previous shifts and place in the holding area either to observe them or send them on up into the ward on the 3rd floor when rooms become available. Plus those of us in the waiting area to be seen by first the nurse, then sent back out to the waiting room. Wait for hours on end to see the counselor, only to be sent back out into the waiting room to be ignored by staff again for some more hours on end. The final stage before you can get your new script and go home or be admitted or what ever the verdict from on high is going to be, is to see the Doctor. This whole fiasco took me 11 + hrs from about noon to about 11 pm.

When I was in there waiting

for the series of interviews to be done. You go in a particular order of things. You start out by being checked for sharp objects, your cell phone is taken away, your belongings are taken away, your shoes and or shoe laces have to be removed. All this so that you don't hurt yourself or someone else in the pre interview room while everyone is waiting. This is a farce because while I was there the 11 hrs I was waiting . There were a total of at least 3 people that were never checked at all. They continued to use their cell phones. They got to keep their shoes and any of them could have had any kind of weapon on them, as they were not checked when they came in. Ridiculous Right? As you can tell this is going to be involved. I'll pick up where I left off tomorrow. Also remember if you would like to get each updated post Automatically in your email inbox every day subscribe to Justakrusen by way of the email link up near the top right of the page. I'm Justa saying!

Justa depressive episode!

image image courtesy of google images

Hang on folks. Here it comes. It seem so surreal typing these words. In a nut shell this is my life coming out of the typing of these words. I'm justa starting into the depressive side of this journey through my Bi-polar disorder. Wish me luck. I still have the same support in place. That being said though the only one that controls this ride is me. Jolynn Braley said in her comment over at Tom's post on Bi-Polar disorder "The way out is through" the disorder. Read the rest of her comment by using the above link to Tom's post.

I said somewhere, I don't remember where it was, that I was looking forward to the depressive  stage of this trip into the disorder this time. I think I said "I want to see how I manage the depression this time." Well I guess we'll find out. I'm not so sure now. It comes in on you like a heavy cloud, or a wave on the beach. There is no stopping it. It just is. So in other words Jolynn is right. Unless I can disconnect from my body. The wave is going to lap at my being, slowly eroding parts of me away. I don't know if this is such a bad thing. Since I'm not evolved enough to disconnect I need to anchor somewhere and ride out the episode. I'm hoping that yesterday was the worst of it. As you read this I'll be in day two of it as I'm writing this the day before.

I hope I don't lapse into a depression filled series of post I'll try to steer away from them after this post. Speaking of depression, "how would you like to wake up knowing your presidential choices for your party were a Potential racist, elitist,do as I say not as I do kind of a guy" or a Controlling, whinnying, crying when she doesn't get her way, manipulating, military hating, men hating, Liberal, lying "I'll promise you anything to get electiated kind of gal. Man is that depressing? Please pray for a Dumocrat today. Because that's the only two choices they have right now. Unless, that "the sky is falling, the sky is falling" fellow from previous administrations shows up at the end.

No wait. We could still elect that guy that shows up every 4 years to draw attention to himself so that when he goes on future speaking tours he can charge $50,000+ dollars. I'm justa saying!

Justa wondering what happened Frank!

image

I'm asking this of one person from the Cicero Ny area. You almost got us. Fortunately I took your advice and did some research. Your company itself doesn't show any problems with the B.B.B. but the owner of your company sure does doesn't he. I believe we'll just leave our deal right where it is now. Thanks for any time you spent with us. Good luck. One more thing Frank. My lack of knowledge on what our property in question was worth was just that ''Lack of knowledge" nothing more, nothing less. Your failure to take the time and truly qualify us was at best neglect on your part. You could have saved us both a lot of time had you just said a couple of things to us while Cindy and I were in your office. Just some advice for you when you have other couples in your office. You should tell them:

  1. As far as service after the sale folks. Well we don't have any. In fact in 2006 there were no less than 11 complaints to the Attorney General of the state of New York. Who by the way his first name was Elliot.(Hmmmmm) Our competitor up the street has their own service department with guaranteed service for a year after the sale. We here can't touch that Mark.In fact we don't have a service dept. We use subcontractors for most of our work. And Another thing Mark Check out the fact that the Better Business Bureau has had no complaints in the last year against our competitor . You won't even find our company listed. (Hmmmm again)
  2. I won't return your phone calls in a timely manner! In fact the girl we have that deals with the financing won't call you back at all. I'm really busy. Rather than take the time to call you right back. I'm going to have you chase me. It's fun watching you chase your tail.
  3. Yes our homes look nice. But our competitors in all honesty with everything being considered have nicer homes than us.They will sit down with you and explain in detail what the deals stages mean. They are not to busy to treat each and every one of their customers with a respect for their time and understanding the need for the customer to feel comfortable with the deal. They unlike us Mark will not rush into the sale without fully understanding the customers needs. In fact Mark their homes up there are locked so as to respect that future owner of the home being shown. Unlike ours where we just let you come and go in the homes not giving two hoots about any questions you'll have or what you may or may not do when your in the home alone.
  4. Mark the issues above are important enough. But the one overriding issue I have to share with you is. That I don't have the balls to call you back and say "You know what, I can't dispute a damn thing that is written her Mark, Not one DAMN, thing" Oh and one final thing Mark. I sure hope I don't have to face you in public somewhere some time. You are one mean bastard aren't you? I'm Justa saying, Mark!

Now that I've gotten the private business out of the way. We're in the process of trying to buy a New Double wide and put it on land we've found near our house. We should find out later today if the Financing went through. We are looking at 2+ acres not far from the park we live in now. The number were looking at would be within our "not house poor numbers". I'll let you know later if we got it. If not we trudge on here in the park we live in. Doesn't hurt to dream does it? We've only got a little under 5 years left on the house so we would just bite the bullet and keep it. Oh ,just as an aside. The new company which we like and are now dealing with is G & I homes. Stay tuned for more information as it comes my way. I'm justa saying!

Justa picture this!

image Photo courtesy of Ronray at flcker.com

Just look at that sun shining off the water. and the ripple of the waves and the sand. I don't really see anything else to point out do you? Nothing really jumps off the page. I'll have to study the picture more to see if I can extract more from it.:) Ok maybe there is a little of something else to look at. Yeah there it is. Is that an Island way out in the distance. I'm kind of tired this morning as I do this post. I had a battle of wits with an Atheist yesterday. Unfortunately, he came unarmed. I would link to his site, but I don't even want him to get 1 hit from this site. I was signed up to his feed because he had some good content. However the way he handled the discussion has convinced me to cancel that.

Cindy saw this picture and wanted to know why I needed to put it on here. I asked her what she had against sunsets and rippling water? I also told her I liked the way the wet sand showed a reflection of the water. I enjoy the beauty of nature. Excusssssse me. Ok maybe I'm missing something. Cindy is pretty upset. There must be something I'm missing in the picture. Could someone please point out to me what I'm missing? Jackofall58 your usually quite observant, please bail me out and tell me what I'm missing.

That ladyinRed gal is going to chew me a new, you know what? I'm still trying to make heads or tails of her math on the Wordpress.blog. Speaking of pictures. If you would like to see a picture of Momma that is quite a bit different than the last one I posted. you can go to this page click here and see a picture of a proud Momma on her son's wedding day. I cropped this Photo. Those of you that know Cindy might recognize this one better than the first one I put up.

For you ladies that are now so up set with me.I'll show you a true picture of me that Momma took when we were out on a walk. We'll see if you'll understand a little bit more about me after seeing it. According to Momma it's one of her most favorite pictures of me that she ever took. Here it is those of you who really know me, is this a really good picture of me or what? I'm justa asking?

Justa Retirement story.

image I think he's counting the number of friends he has now. I know I'm not exactly on the leading edge of this story, but it's the tail end I'm really thinking about.

Courtesy of Moolanomy.com

imageHe has some major decisions

to make now doesn't he? I don't think Elliot has to worry about money right now. He has to make sure his supply of Soap on a rope is full, if you know what I mean? As that great Philosopher Earl Pitts says "Wake up America". I don't know where you are in life right now. But the time to think about retirement is yesterday!! (That was a wake up call to myself) I'm 54 going on 70. (Not really except for my leg I'm feeling pretty good) I don't have a little nest egg waiting for me or even building up as we speak.

Be patient I'll get to the point here I hope. I was talking to my Mortgage lady Tracy check out her website here the other day. It appears that because of my current state of affairs. My leg situation. That I am Persona Non Grata as it relates to the meager contribution I make to the family financial coffers. In English, It don't count. That's right, the whopping $400.00 per week that Workmen's comp pay's me to hurry up and wait, Will not for all intents and purposes count a whole lot in the final determination of our ability and willingness to pay our Mortgage.

That being said. $400.00 is not chump change (after all it keeps me supplied in bon bon's and tissue when I sit around watching soaps). Because the powers that be, the Grand Marshals of finance, in other words the Banks, can't use my income as a guide for ability to pay because there is no guarantee of that said income. Whew!! Now back to Elliot, A week ago he had a reasonable "guarantee" of a check every so often from us fine folks in Ny.That "guarantee" is now gone. Don't cry to much for him, I believe he'll scrape buy.(Money wise anyway)

So in a very around about way. What I'm saying is as some of you already know and many are finding out. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED. Because we never know what is going to happen do we? Save when times are good, so that when things come crashing down around you image your prepared. Wow, look at the stat counter in the upper right. Some one from Bulgaria happened across the blog. Welcome. Thanks for stopping by. I justa put the new stat counter in yesterday. The other stat counter is still on the bottom right. It's pretty neat to see the number's rise. Thanks to everyone for stopping by and reading. I'm Justa saying!

Justa checking things out.

image 100_0860Here's what $138.42 will buy you at Wally World. There are some things that we couldn't get in the picture. But you get the basic idea. The other day I posted on Save A Lot and what we had spent there. At least I thought I posted on Save A Lot. I've looked around and can't find the post. Any how this purchase at Wal*Mart had a total of 54 items, I don't speak Greek so the items list was kind of hard to decipher what was non food items some of the time.

I'm in the if you can't beat em, join em mode as it relates to Wal*Mart If your careful and watch the items you buy. You can really save quite a bit. Momma said the meat's were more expensive at Wal*Mart as compared to Save-A-Lot. However, on a lot of the items Wally's prices were either the same or a little bit lower because of the size comparisons. Another thing, you have a lot more choices at Wal*Mart. Were not saying we're going to abandon ship on Save-A-Lot yet, Like Jeff did. (Amanda, I just had to get a dig in, it's been a few days now)

There is one Caveat here though. As a soon to be former Truck Driver, I hate the place. The Warehouses are huge and they have an extreme"My way or the highway" policy in the way they do things. For starters, you absolutely can't arrive any sooner than 2 hrs before your appointment time. If you do they will send you away. This is a major pain at most of the Distribution Centers because they tend to be out in the boonies. You have to leave and come back at your appointment time. Where you park, they could care less, just leave there property. (This is going to be a long paragraph and will have to be under the pouting, or whinnying category) So you get back to the Land of Oz, and they open the gates into the Emerald City, you have to park and walk in to check in. They assign you a door, you back in and have to drop your trailer and pull away from it about 2 feet. This is so the chances of you pulling the trailer out while someone is in the back.(I did that once at one of their stores, don't ask!) So I can't blame them for this policy can I? I guess the worst thing they do that bugs me, is that they charge you, or the company you drive for a minimum of $25.00 to unload the trailer. That's if it is a runoff no touch load. Much more if the Freight has to be handled. It takes a  2 hrs to unload. Sometimes much longer. This is a major ripoff, as they are passing the cost of the labor in their warehouse back onto the Shipper or Trucking company. But that is how they make (save) money by putting pressure on the suppliers.

So you see, I have a love hate relationship with Wally World. I love the prices on a lot of the stuff they sell-but I hate the way they treat Truck Drivers at the Warehouses, and I sure wish I could look on the tag and see "Made In America" once in a while. I'm Out!!

I Justa wanna play Daddy!!

image Indi is an amazing dog. He listens very well does a few neat tricks and is exactly like having a 2 year old(as in baby) around. I've already told you I'm spending way to much time on the computer, wellll apparently Indi thinks so too. He will constantly bring his ball in and stand on his back legs and set the ball on the desk. This isn't bad enough, he has the nasty habit of rolling the ball around in his mouth for about 15 seconds getting it good an wet and slimy. Quite often I'll stop what I'm doing and go out in the other room and throw the ball. He'll play until he's tired himself out, which usually takes about 20 minutes. Ok, job done I played with my baby I can get back to "Work" now. Yep, you guessed it plopp, ball on desk!! The mutt would play ball all day long. I feel guilty but, we have to forcefully tell him NO. He then gets this look  100_0707 How can I say no. Very hard to be productive with these distractions. Maybe Cindy can take him to work with her. Hmmmmm. Oh, not only do I get harassed by Indi his partner in crime starts this stuff  100_0694 Now y

Justa taking way to much medicine!

image Ok, so I've been on the computer too much lately. I really have been. My Librarian (Hello Barb) has a whole bunch of books lined up for me to read. I still have about 10 left from my last shipment. They are all excellent reads. James Patterson,Jack Higgens, Daniel Silva,Dean Koontz, Catherine Coltier, just to name a few. I promise Barb I'll start reading again. I was so anal about reading when you first gave me them, I think I read about 15 of them in about 2 weeks wasn't it? Oh and by the way your charging me way to much for them.(She gives them to me)

Amanda, Cindy tells me you read the blog everyday. Thanks for that, it's nice to know that I'm not just whistling in the wind. As you've read, I'm still just experimenting and learning all kinds of things I hope to get some worthwhile content going soon and if you have any ideas or anything you would like researched just let me know as, I have lots of time and would be more than glad to look up different resources. I hope your feeling better soon, being sick is no fun. Jeff tells me we're invited over for a movie night again. I'm glad momma's behavior the last time we were there didn't shut the door on future movie nights. We just got about 5 or 6 new Dvd's so let us know when.

My next "have to leave the house" isn't till Friday(Chiropractor), however I was talking to Indy a while ago and he suggested a ride in the car would be nice. So I believe we will go to Dunkin Donuts and get a coffee. I've been buying Indy donut holes the last few times I've been, he loves them.(Jeff, could he be a police dog?) Tom, I got a hold of Natalie last night and we are mailing her a picture of the John Cow.com website so she could see what I'm talking about for a caricature for the heading on the website. I really like the one she did of you. Something along those lines would be awesome. Just think Natalie would be the head of graphics for all Justakrusen enterprises going forward. Hey, You never know.

I hate to bring up this subject but it has gotten out of hand and I have no choice. Effective immediately there will be a $5.00 per event "Lurking Charge" for not commenting on a post that you read. This can be paid either by credit card or cash, (as I don't trust any of you with a check,Your family remember). It's necessary for me to institute this charge because, well, because, because, well because that's why. So check your mail boxes and remit payment within 10 days or there will be a 10% late fee assessed. Thank you in advance for you compliance, it will make family functions a little less stressful if I don't have to bring it up there.

Justa Picking on Friends and Relatives!!

image Just wanted to say watch out Pete, Jeff might be out working today. Jeff this guy does look quite a bit like you, don't you think? Melanie, is this the cop that gave you the ticket for your Demolition Derby in your parking lot?

image And here I am on the way to the gym. I don't really need to go but, It gives me something to do. I didn't know that Cindy was behind me at the light.

image_thumb[7]We went to breakfast this morning with Tom & Sherri. We went to Larkins again. That is an awesome place to eat Thanks for breakfast guys. With relatives like this who needs friends right?I actually have started to lose some weight again. I was down to 278lbs before we went to breakfast. Still a ways to go. I started at 294lbs this time around. Before I had gotten hurt I was down to 255. Like anything I have my good and bad days.

Momma told me I was using too many pictures in my post. So that puts an end to that. She is so mean to me. If any one out there is looking for a really good read and an excellent source on blogging click this link here It is beyond the shadow of a doubt the best resource and explanation of blogging on the web. In my humble opinion of course.

Justa Getting Some Things Off Of My Chest

Feeling a little unloved and rejected today! This too shall pass. I just asked each of my kids, Adrianne and Jeff, to get back to me on something. That was 2 days ago. Picture:(Holding hand on a..) Good thing it wasn't life threatening or anything. What is so pathetic, is that the request for return info is just a response to a joke that I sent them. (They don't know that though) It was a funny ha ha type moment that I was trying to share. See I can write about this here, because neither one of them are reading this thing anyway and it's a way for me to vent. But it is pathetic that you can't just check in once in a while. Anywayyyyyyy. I haven't done a damn thing today but sat on my butt reading other peoples blogs. And you know what. So what!! That is my job right now. Sitting on my butt and getting paid for it. I almost feel like a Democrat! lol. Po'd at wife at lunch about above topics and her reaction to my rant. Her: "Your over reacting, or misreading or something". Me: Words and actions or inactions mean things. I believe momma and I will be going to the gym this evening. The mood I'm in I don't really want to go but I have too to continue some progress that I have made weight wise not mentioned yet and physcially some improvement in my leg.
