Justa Saturday Diatribe

Finally feeling a little better. We were able to go out for breakfast with my buddy Shawn who was wifeless today. (We missed you Pat) That's about all I could manage though, as I had to come home and veg and mamma had to go on the rest of the Saturday stuff on her own.(Post office, bank, grocery store, see her boyfriend, etc) Ms. Courtney is spending the night with us tonight, her and momma are both working out right now. Cindy is biking and Courtney is walking on the tread mill. On that note. My leg is feeling great right now. The adjustment I got at the Chiropractor yesterday is very encouraging as I'm able to walk almost without a limp. It appears that alignment of my spine has been one of the problems with walking properly all this time. It's amazing after only one visit. How bout those Syracuse Orangemen! Who do you want to win the Super bowl tommorow? I know who your picking Tom. Me? I don't really care. If I had to pick I would probably lean towards the Giants. I'm listening for any falling bodies in the other room, so far no huffing and puffing. I may try the pool tommorow. (yeah I know). If any body hears from Jeff and Amanda let me know. I think they're still alive. Rumor has it Jeff is building a new closet. (I think it's for me to come out of)

I went to the Chiropractor today It seemed to help my lower back. As most of you know the roads are pretty nasty out there today so that was no mean feat the way I was feeling. Hey, has anybody noticed how much trouble they're having over in Chinia with the weather? Makes you appricated our Plow guys better huh? I'm still having trouble with putting pictures on this thing along with fiquring out how to hyperlink. If any of you know could u let me know. Just had another twitch in the lights, I better shut it down. Till the morrow.

Justa Wanta Feel Better

This will be day three of my "I still don't feel good post". I had to cancel going to my test today. I just still really feel lousy, sore all over, coughing, etc. So it's rescheduled for next week. Cindy left me, more on that later. I want to give a shout out to Melissa, and Peter that work with Cindy. Thanks for reading this thing. If you have any subjects you'd like me to look up and research to talk about on here let me know. I'm still just studying things about blogging and know I'm spending to much time reading other blogs. I'm amazed how many are out here. Now your probably wondering about Cindy leaving me? Yep, she left me and went to the gym... oh wait... you didn't think I meant she left me... I'm so sorry, see how things can get miscombobulated . If I didn't feel so lousy I would have gone with her(see I never run out of excuses) honest I would've. If you want to see how real blogging is supposed to be done, check out Wise Bread.com. I get a lot of useful info off of there. I'm going to cut it off here as momma just returned to the homestead. I also wanted to give a shout out to Lenny and Sherri for checking in on me by phone, I appreciate the check ins.

Justa Pondering Moment

I'm sick as a dog tonight, been in bed most of the day. (Figures with me having to go take my Functional capacity test tomorrow). Any how, I have brought back that great sage momma to guest post.(Remember she has a capacity to stretch the truth when talking about me) I typed in red cause momma can't read any thing in red.Hi, all ( I can read red ..just an FYI) The wind is howling and it made me think about the news piece I heard on my way home from the gym a little while ago. It was talking about the volunteers for Salvation Army who are trying to scope out the Syracuse area to see how many folks are truly living in the streets. It makes me think about how close many of us are to being one of those people being counted. Many of us live looking forward to the next pay check. What if something tragically happened to the main money earner? What becomes of us? To have a job, to receive a paycheck, one needs an address. But what if that address gets taken away from us. The lenders are very friendly to us when they want us to borrow money from them, but how friendly are they when we can not pay them back? Am I tough enough to live literally on the streets? I think I am too weak to do that. I have a strong soul, but I do not know if it is strong enough to be intimate with that howling wind, the freezing temps, sleeping on vents in sidewalks, or hovered in a door sill. There is a man that stands at a busy intersection I pass through on my way to work. At times the light is red, and I am close enough to come in contact with him, if I have a buck or two I will hand it to him, he blesses me, he thanks me. I am amazed how someone who has obviously lost everything, how he has the strength, the determination and the courage to hold that cardboard sign asking for help. How he has the faith to say "God bless you" to me. I wonder, is he an angel , sent to test me? To test all of us? I ponder, could I do that? Could I stand there, at the bottom of the barrel , asking for help, being shunned by many, just asking for someone to help me out. Tomorrow is payday for me, but what if that paycheck did not come, and the next one did not come, what if there was no family to assist, what if.... and would I be able to hold the hand of the winter wind, dine with the ice and snow, what if. With hopes that the power stays on, with hopes that the homeless have found warmth somewhere, I sign off to go cook dinner and appreciate all we have. May God Bless each of you. Cindy

Justa Lazy mans way to post

Think About It - Is there another word for synonym? - Where do forest rangers go to "get away from it all?" - What do you do when you see an endangered animal eating an endangered plant? - If a parsley farmer is sued can they garnish his wages? - Would a fly without wings be called a walk? - Why do they lock gas station bathrooms? Are they afraid someone will clean them? - If a turtle doesn't have a shell, is he homeless or naked? - Can vegetarians eat animal crackers? - If the police arrest a mime, do they tell him he has the right to remain silent? - Why do they put Braille on the drive-through bank machines? - How do they get deer to cross the road only at those yellow road signs? Had these questions sent to me by Arcamax, they do make you think though.

Justa Killing Time (Before It Kills me First)

Wanted to give a shout out to Thomas. Thanks for commenting, It's good to see that some one is reading this thing. Although I'll keep doing this even if no one is. Your sister chuckled at your comments. Isn't it amazing how the passing of time doesn't diminish some experiences. I've added another blog you guys just have to read see "Wise Bread" on the side bar, the site is just packed with a lot of useful info. I've added a stat counter to the bottom of the page, you can click on that and see it is mostly me clicking on and tweaking this or that. Momma is worried about me monetizing this site and getting in trouble with Workman's comp. lol. I go to Dr. tomorrow for my knee. the case manager from the insurance company is going to be there maybe they'll give me an idea for some direction this thing is going to go in. Back to monetizing, check out how many readers Wise Bread has on his site That's monetizing a site!! I have no such illusions, Right now this is giving me something to do. Keeping me off the street so to speak. I just ain't feeling it today so I'm out.

Justa Premonition

Watched the movie Premonition at Jeff & Amanda's house last night. If any body out there has an idea what happened at the end let us know in the comments. The longer the movie went on the more confused I got. (That probably doesn't surprise most of you) It was a good time, Momma made some home made Pizza and a salad and we hot footed it to the kids house, It doesn't get any better than Thissss. I've started investigating the possibility of selling my Upper Deck Baseball card set from 1989,1990,1991 they are all in binders and sleeves. Some initial indications are that some people are selling sets like these for about $200.00. Under the right circumstances I might sell them, however if they have appreciated that much, I may just continue to hang on to them. Things you might not know about the canidates: Mike Huckabee who lost 110lbs while he was the govenor of Arkansas has run in four Marathons with a personal best of 4 hrs 20 min. Just thought you might want to know.
