Justa Little Omelet
Isn't this picture neat? Watch out now that I know how to put pictures in here I'm going to be dangerous. Didn't do much today. Momma and I went to breakfast. $18.21 that's crazy last week we ate somewhere for $10.00 We won't go there again. We like to eat out Saturday mornings that's our one vice. We don't drink or smoke or beat our kids(not since they moved out anyway). So don't take that away from me please. I'm trying to get us to set up a budget to see where our pennies go, I know where the dollars go, Cars, gas, house, etc. Shawn if you read this I think that dog looks a little like you lol. I want to get this posted so ta ta.

Justa Little Lie
That's right. I lied. I said I was going to write a little about trucking today but I'm not so there.
Today I went to my massage therapy for my knee. It seems to be helping some, but as days go buy I'm realizing that I'm always going to have a limp and be limited to how far I can walk and what I can do.
The rest of the day I was checking out some interesting blogs and making some tweaks on this blog.
I've been spending way to much time on the computer I need to cut down to 12 hrs lol.
Got to get back to the gym. I haven't been motivated to go since I stopped physical therapy weeks ago.
I would like to let you know I am a licensed let the dog outerrrrr. At least my dog thinks I am.

Justa Little whining
This blog set up is harder than i thought. I'm having a lot of trouble getting some of the things on here,(different gadgets and links etc) but I'm working on it. There are a bunch of blogs I read check them out more to follow. It's going to be a while before i really get things up and running with this thing but stick with me. I just know that once we get going going there will be a million hits a day.(lol) I wanted to see who was paying attention. Daily Blog Tips is a good place to check out if you just started blogging. I'm going to try to get into some trucking stuff tomorrow. I'm done whining I'm starting to sound like a truck driver.

Justa Little Backround
I've driven over the road and regional most of my career. It was only the last year that I got the local driving job hauling fuel tankers. I was working nights and It was better than being on the road but my wife and I still didn't see each other much because of our schedules. I'd probably still be there though , as the money was good(About $1,0000 a week) and I was getting used to sleeping in my own bed. My injury happened on Feb 2,2007 I was connecting hoses up and slipped on a manhole cover that was covered with snow. I hyper extended my left leg tearing my meniscus in my knee. It hurt pretty good but I thought it was just a muscle pull and it would just heal. I worked the rest of that night in quite a bit of pain and let my safety director know the first chance I got (that Monday) that" I had hurt myself but I thought I'd be ok and I would let him know. As it turns out that as the week went on it got worse so I went to the Doctors. I don't want to bore you with the details, But long story short my driving career is done. If you need the details let me know.

48 Days to the work you love by Dan Miller
I just started reading this book today. I've been out on Workman's comp for almost a year now. My Dr. tells me that I won't be going back to driving, so i have to find something else to do. On Jan 31 i have to get a functional capacity test. I'm in the what do I want to do when I grow up mode. I've been in that since i was 17.
So I'm hoping to get some help from this book. I'll let You know as time goes on.
Some of my goals for this blog are:
- Become a one stop shop for truckers coming into the Northeast for information on various travel needs IE, Weather, Directions, Good places to eat with truck parking, fuel stops just to name a few. If you have any ideas please let me know.
- Personal finance as it relates to getting out of debt, frugality,(Is this a word)
- A source for good conversation and support for those just starting out in the transportation industry.
