Chocolate Candy

image Image is courtesy of google Images.

I used this image today so I would be sure that Stephany, and Precious Rock would read it. You can have two each then pass the bag on. I hope you all enjoyed my 300th post. I put quite a bit of work into it. It took me hours to write it. I was going to take a break today from blogging to rest up from it. But noooooo, here I am persevering, going above and beyond just to get my words of wisdom onto your computer screen. Damn, I'm starting to sound like Stan again.

As some of you know I used to drive truck. It's something I did for a long time so it's kind of hard to get it out of my system. So to keep myself in touch with  being on the road I check in on quite a few different trucking blogs. There are really some pretty good ones out there that really paint a pretty good picture of what it's like to be on the road. I have put a few on my side bar for you to check out if you feel so inclined. You can really get into the mind and life of these "Knights of the Highway". Remember these Men and women bring us 90% of the goods we consume everyday. Doing it in a safe and timely manner. This is justa partial list.  Here's a couple of pictures of my last truck that I{The bank} owned. It was a 2000 Mack Vision.  Notice the gourmet meal that Momma had prepared for us.

truck

inside truck 2000 I happened upon a website the other day that has major newspapers from all around the country on it. The name of it is Newseum.org It's got most of if not all the major papers on their site. Heck you can click on the Syracuse, Ny one and see if you can see the picture of me streaking at the SU game this afternoon. I'm only kidding Ana I'm going to be watching it at home. Seriously though, you can click on the website of the paper and see it better than the page that comes up.  I've got to warn you. I checked out a lot of them around the country. The grass is'nt greener anywhere else. There are layoffs all over the country. Those 25 and 50 laid off here and there add up.

Darn it as I'm typing this post I'm looking up at that picture of the Hershey's Kisses now I WANT CHOCOLATE.

I just noticed as I checked the link for the Newseum.org that you can check papers all over the world. How neat is that?

I'll never do straight Hershey kisses again now that I am totally addicted to the cherry cordial ones.

Two only? And then I have to pass the bag. Are you kidding?

Dear Lord Mark!
You're working too hard. It took you 3 days to design the 300th post. I don't believe you still have the strenght to write on your work.
It must be pretty interesting. I'll visit some of the blogs you added to you blog list.
Nice site Mark.
I will study American geography on this as well as contemporary history.
Syracuse... I'll tell you when I arrive there.

How could you? I send out free beer to everyone but you give CHOCOLATE to just two friends. You're toying with me now, aren't you. (Paranoia is not part of my illness). You know I'm completely out of Hershey bars and so you put up that big bag of Hershey kisses. Ohhhhhh the inhumanity of it all . . .

Precious,
You can only have two, gotta make the bag last.

Diane,
I haven't tried them yet but I am so going to.

Ana,
I know you. You'll come over here meet some ole truck driver from the hills of West Virgina and we will never hear from you again.

Addict,
I just used that bag of chocolates to lure Stephany and Precious here. They're only allowed two each. So hurry up and get your share.

Well, I'm back from my walk is there any chocolate left!? don't you love how many flavors Hershey kisses come in now? I love the dark chocolate ones.

I went on a walk where it said the distance and it was 4 miles! (and i'm still able to move lol) somehow, does that justify all of the chocolate eating?

That's a nice looking rig there Mark, I bet you miss it, thanks for sharing the photo.

stephany,
I just ate the last piece sorry.

4 mile walk!! Are you training for the marathon? Did you take Koda with you?

Parts of me do miss the truck but I'd rather be home with momma. Now if she could come with me like Craig & Diane do that be another thing.

I tried to talk my husband into long-haul trucking and us get training for it so we could work as a team. I haven't been too far out of VA most of my life and felt we could make a great living and see the country as well. We are animal lovers and have two dogs but I told him we could take them with us and on weekends or two weekdays we could enjoy our home. Unfortunately, it wouldn't work out because my husband gets major road rage. He has even pulled over other cars and got out to confront people and they would then take off. Don't need somebody like that behind the wheel of a big truck.

PS: By the time I got to the chocolate you had eaten the last piece. Not cool stan...

Yep, Koda went on the walk, and I'm awake at 3am again to let the dog outside-- I thought I'd find chocolate, but apparently it's all gone here!

You didn't mention any pain thats a good thing.

Dear Mark:

I plan to use the plausible deniability defense in regards to eating any of your Chocolate! Everyone knows I would never touch a single eatable item you offered; do to the strong possibility it could be laced with poison Liberal propaganda. {Laughing}

Thought it was interesting that you used the 90% figure, and this did not include Wacky tobacco, moon shine running, liberal propaganda pamphlet hauling, and cigarette smuggling in your post? I gather the CIA reads your blog also!

I was wondering where you had your six fingered banjo rack on that 16 wheeler. I imagine that rack behind your head was there to hang your blue sequin man purse; and you had your traveling Man basket next to you on the seat in arms reach for important emergencies.

After that intense and long drawn out verbiage of inconsequential babble you used in your 300th post; you better limp on over to the couch and take a three day nap.

Stanley,

You must have had your daily intake of Cannabis this morning. There are 18 wheels on the truck not 16.

The only way the CIA would be reading this blog is if they followed your Nancy Pelosi loving a$$ over here. Come to think of it. Everyday for the last two weeks my phone rings I pick it up and no one is there. Just a couple of clicks. Hmmmmmm.

Stephany said...

wow that's a huge truck! lol the photo looks great up there. Oh, there's pain this morning, nothing that a blueberry chocolate chip muffin won't cure!

Stephany said...

I like Stan's advice, a 3 day nap sounds good to me!

Dear Mark:

CORRECTION: 16 wheels + the two training wheels you needed = 18 wheels.

By the way, that click sounds your hearing on your phone; may just be a nasty side effect of your brain beginning to function. To relieve this irritant just go back to your couch and eat a few pounds more of that Liberal Laced Chocolate you like so much. Brain functioning should be halted within the usually parameters and time constraints.

I heard through the blog grapevine that you were asked to help out with the latest "Just Say No to Drugs" commercial. I believe they were going to use a picture of your brain as the after example! {Laughing}

OK, enough advice for this morning; you can go back to hugging your Nancy Pepsi-lib doll tightly now.

Stephany,

I am somewhat leery of following Stan's advice on anything.

His idea of a good time is getting dressed in his pink sweats, with his orange tee shirt sitting on his bean bag and reading his 1946 high school year book over and over again, where some girl wrote "that he had her at hello"

well, he does have a way with words. LOL
