I've given myself this award. That's right Stan,I am into self gratification from time
to time. I'm not mad as hell right now. I just wanted to give myself an award,and to
make it available for anyone that needed it. Feel free to take this award yourself.
It's not an award that can be passed on. The responsibility to get mad as Hell falls
on the individual. But be careful as this write up from Fox news will tell you. I
don't tend to get mad much any more. I used to rant and rave over some perceived
injustice. All it ever did was make me tired. Cindy will tell you I used to go on and
on. Now in my old age I just sort of shrug it off. Maybe it's because I've been down
lately. So in an effort to energize my self and get back on my horse, I'm giving
myself the award. Stephany if you read this Pot Pie night is tomorrow night we will
be serving at about 07:30. It was a pretty good day here overall. No snow for a
change. Momma has a good informative post tonight if you want to mosey over there and check it out.(Hell I think she
even says something nice about me)

All day I thought it was Wednesday! if I start driving now, I wonder if I will make it in time?
I like your award, I think we all feel mad as hell at times!
Nope . Your going to have to fly in to make it. Call when you get to the airport.
Yes, I think I deserve this award. So I will take it and then carry on to my new one day at a time motto. Nice post. Luv, Sandy
Sandy,
Yes you probably do need this award. With some of the stuff that you've been going through lately. How was your trip to Florida? Take this reward and use it. Don't forget to stick your head out the window when you shout. So we can all hear you.{laughing}
I don't guess I would deserve this award. I don't get "mad as Hell" anymore. I've found it doesn't do me any good and apparently I was right. Also, it never changes a situation or helps anything get better. So I let all that anger just build up inside of me until my next psychiatrist appointment and he usually starts me on a new med. The latest is Abilify and it has done great for not getting "Mad as Hell." I hope I haven't disappointed you stan?
Addict,
You may not need the award now. However in the event of a relapse you know where to come to get it. I can't hand it out,you have to pick it up.
Dear Mark:
Thank Goodness I don't need an award of this sort; since anger is most of the time a shouting voice calling a person to action. Though the action it calls for may not be an explosion of emotion or violent rage in each instance; yet an opportune time to reflect, plan, and consider all the options available as we each sort out the puzzle of frustration and feelings of injustice laid upon our brow.
Though I maybe an exception, and possibly not the standing rule of norm in this opinion. I am one that believes anger has its place and proper status in line with all our other emotions and states we have in are human arsenal. I know without it, many great triumphs over oppression and evil would have never come to pass. Which would in turn, have myself really pissed off to no end. {Laughing}
Stan
Stan,
I agree anger does have a place in our arsenal of responses. I get angry at different things everyday. Injustices and polices jammed down our throats with no real way to overcome them. We can scream and holler all we want,a lot of times we're just put in a box(metaphorically)and passed off as the one with a problem.
Some times there is even false outrage (Al Sharpton comes to mind)
This award is not a call to arms. It is just something anybody can use to express themselves.Even if it's in the box.Sometimes it feels good to say "I'm mad as hell,and I'm not going to take it anymore".
Dear Mark:
Just remember in "Network" Albert Finny was in complete melt down. Kind of funny how many people will follow a complete raving lunatic to their open windows and yell “bloody murder” at the world when they are entranced with a powerful message. {Smirk}.
Come to think of it! Kind of reminds me of someone? But only if the couch fits, should you then lay on it. {Laughing}
Stan
Stan,
I like your new Avatar. Is that hemp tea by any chance your drinking there? Your making a lot of changes. New Avatars,getting rid of some old friends...
Did you have to research the reference to Albert Finny in the movie "Network" or did you justa remember it? Knowing you I bet you remembered it. That was a good movie and was what I was referring to when I wrote the post. I was to lazy to look it up as I couldn't remember it.{grin}
As to the couch. I think you've flayed around on a few more of them than I have. If you know what I mean?
Dear Mark:
That was honest total recall for your feeble information Mr. Couch Potato.
I happen to prefer an opium tea blend to kick start my day thank you very much!
As for those old shadows we happen to pass by upon this well worn road of life. Just a very few appear in the true light of sun lit day and are what I call the real deal in treasured friend. As for all the rest! They were really just distant and brief encounters of only the usual human kind.
Yours Truly,
Stan
Master Stan,
Total recall I'm impressed. Although I'm easily impressed.
Ah ha. "The well worn road of life" I'm crawling along that myself. It's just ashame to toss aside a rose because one petal fell off. Should we not offer hand ups for fallen comrades?
Dear Mark:
If you’re going to go all Bible toting guilt trip on me; we may be in for a very looooooooooong conversation. I started out studying theology in College many moons long ago {take that shocked look off your face, calm down, and smoke a pipe full of weevil: I won't lay healing hands on you, or preach at any one on the subject matter (laughing), but I do know the fire and brim stone drill quite well.
Let me make it as clear as I can here; I worked to long with some pretty savory characters. Show me the victim; my hand and heart is usually is warm and wide open. But when it comes to victimizers; I tend to step back, take a long look, and then walk away or blast them with both barrels blazing.
I know we are going to differ on this topic; I happen to believe that is honest and healthy. I also tend to think we are both going to hold our ground on this one.
I have let it all go free into the turbulent winds of destiny now and forever more!
You're Bloggery Pal,
Stan
(Laughing my arese off)
No Stan I'm not going to go Al Sharpton on you don't worry. I've had my foray into that arena and have decided to sit on the sidelines and watch.
I was just doing a soft probe into the murky waters. I have no "ground to hold" your a big boy and I think you have made it quite clear. Subject dropped!!!
I can see you sitting cross legged with your fellow Hara Chrisners at the San Francisco airport welcoming home your role model Nancy Pelosi.
hey what was dessert w the pot pies?
No dessert!
We had a nice time but not without it's drama. I'm beginning to think there is a black cloud attached to me. The weather was sooo warm and now I have Spring fever. Hope all is well with you guys. Luv Sandy
