Happy Mothers Day!!!

It's your special day Moms. Enjoy. It's 05:45 as I start this post. I've already called my mom. She's an early riser and I wanted to get her before she goes out gallivanting. She's 74 years old and is more active than I am. Little aches and pains are creeping up on her but she still manages to get out and walk a little every day.

Momma's still in bed sleeping. We went to bed last night at 10:00 pm. Cindy had a rough day at work this week and we closed it out with a trip to the zoo with the Lime Green Drama Queen yesterday. Here's a few pics from our foray.

100_2807 This is a couple wild Penguins that were wandering around the park loose. They look pretty friendly and an awful lot like Cindy and Courtney.

100_2865Here's Courtney chasing other kids away from the Monkey bars.

100_2860 And a final picture of The Lime Green Drama Queen carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. As you can tell she's pretty camera shy. Not!!

100_2793 Ok,you wanted proof that I was there. Here's a picture of me resting a bit after we had walked all the way around the whole zoo. It had to be at least 1/2 mile around that whole thing. Let's just say I used a lot of the benches to get around it.

That's a great photo of you! Just wanted to let you know I'm still alive and watching you. I'm glad you allowed Cindy to sleep in a bit on Mother's Day.

I had a picture of me sitting on a bench.All I was doing was sweating and huffing and puffing.So I didn't use that one. That was fun going to the Zoo. Ana and Precious you both need to get away from yourselves for a while. The Zoo is a good idea. It actually lifted my spirits a little.

Sounds like my Mom, I don't think I'll ever have her kind of energy. Oh and by the way, I think you should use that picture of you at the zoo as your new profile picture.....nice! Luv ya Sandy

Dear Marky Mark:

I had always suspected you were just a Big Putty Cat; now we have confirmation {Laughing}.

I see Cindy and Courtney have seen the light and are now believers in the mighty penguin take over of the planet in the near future.

I guess you will be just sitting on life's many benches sweating away as humanity wains into the sunset.

Don't get discouraged though; I'm sure you can find a can of meat sauce or an old rock hard pizza crust or two to make those last days pass quietly. {LMAO}

Hope you have a Nice Mother's Day: and remember to serve Cindy breakfast in bed with a beautiful fresh bouquet of flowers in a show of humble appreciation for all she does each day to make your zoo cage existence just that much better.

{OH, the guilt you must feel now LAUGHING}

Stan

I was awake coughing and hacking from this cold I have (sniff)and left a comment but it musta not worked!

Belated Happy Mother's Day Cindy and the zoo looks fun!

Also, now after reading above comments, I agree with Mark, getting out like that does wonders for diversion from ourselves.

Ladyjane,
You wish is my command. Pooooof! The picture of me at the zoo is now my profile picture. I hope you had a great Mothers Day. Was Norm good to you?

Stan,
Did you buy Nancy anything for Mothers day?

And yes. Cindy and Courtney both have joined your Penguin movement in upstate NY.

You said I should feel "guilt and Remorse" the only remorse I feel is ever pressing "Publish" when you first left a comment on this blog. {Not really Stan, I just have to keep in practice}

Ps. I saw your ancestry represented at the zoo.There were two of them. J-a-c-k-a-s-s-e-s.

Stephany,
It isn't fair leaving you a comment below Stans. But in the interest of time... I read your account of your outing with your daughters on your last post. It sounded like you had a great day.

Mark, Belated, but Happy Mother's Day to your wife....

It sounds like she had a really really good one.

As for your picture- your stripes are as striking as my baby girls. And speaking of stripes- I hope Imus had a good day as well. I guess Imus takes after his daddy, eh?

Susan,
Imus is doing fine. He is still in full control of the house. We just borrow it from him.

Can we go to the Zoo crying? LOL
I feel like crying for no reason.
All of a sudden... crying.
Good to clean the eyes. I guess I would lay down beside this tiger and sleep.
I hope I wake up before him.
Wow! Cannot use alarm clock.
Safer sleeping home.
When will it goes away?
Isn't strange that we have no idea when this thing will go away?
For everything you have you have an idea. This thing don't.

Ana,
Yep you can go to the zoo crying. Do you have a big zoo at all near you?

What's bugging you the most right now? Is your depression from meds your taking or are you going thru a rough time now?

You can take a nap next to that little kitty, but like you said if I were you I would wake up before he did. Lol!
