I didn't even realize that it was set on what it was.

Although it would be very painful I think your right. The price of Gas does need to go up some more. Maybe when the Restaurants are mty and the movie houses too will someone get the message. We have to stop wasting money on frivolous non essential things.Mark Krusenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07857604432203792558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6251361560277611769.post-19492205447526881282008-06-04T11:46:00.000-04:002008-06-04T11:46:00.000-04:00Dearest Mark:Getting back in the saddle again isn'...Dearest Mark:

Getting back in the saddle again isn't easy even for someone without bipolar. My only advice is giving yourself time to adjust and really make an effort to enjoy what you’re doing! I guess the simplest way to put that statement; is have some fun, laughter, and enjoy the clients you’re providing this valuable service for.
I have faith that this will not only be a successful venture; but will inject a nice dose of balance and esteem into your life. Just remember every time you feel like it's not going to work out, or the stress starts to overwhelm you; you have good friends standing behind you pushing away and yelling out encouragement from the curb side of each street you drive down (even if it’s from three thousand miles away {laughing}, I gather you’ll have to turn up your hearing aids to hear me {smirk}). I happen to believe getting back to some type of work/community related activity is a healthy step in maintaining a good sense of self, and in turn gives us even more power to deal with the rollercoaster ride we go through with bipolar disorder. Just trying is a huge step in itself; I applaud you, and send good wishes for your efforts and a successful transition back into the work place.

Your blog Buddy
StanAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08682484589058747783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6251361560277611769.post-34043509718884317892008-06-04T11:37:00.000-04:002008-06-04T11:37:00.000-04:00Great comic! It's great because it is very illustra...Great comic!

It's great because it is very illustrative of the situation (I believe). People have been complaining about the price of gas for a long time now, but just this past weekend my wife and I tried to see the new Indiana Jones movie and it was sold out! This was going to be our first movie in 2-3 years. We tried to find a backup, but Iron Man and Sex in the City (her choice ;-) ) were also sold out! It turns out Prince Caspian was also sold out.

I'm sorry, the price of gas is painful but the price of a night out at the movies is far more and they were sold out! It's crazy. It's also one of the reasons I think the price of gas (oil) needs to rise even further before a majority of people change their behavior...

~Joe.

PS: Thanks for opening up the comments :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
